Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar storage are small pieces of information a website keeps in your browser. This page lists exactly what we use.
1. What we use
- A sign-in cookie (named sms_session). It keeps you signed in. It is marked HttpOnly (page scripts cannot read it), is sent only to our own service, and ends when you sign out or it expires. Without it the system cannot work.
- Saved screen settings in your browser’s storage: which school you are working in, your text size, and the list of your own permissions, so the menu shows quickly.
- Offline data in your browser: class attendance and gate check-ins are kept on the device until the internet returns, and the app keeps a copy of its pages so it opens on a weak connection. This information stays on your device until it is sent to the system.
These are all needed for the system to work. That is why we do not show a cookie banner.
2. What we do not use
We use no advertising cookies, no tracking across other websites, and no analytics that identify you. If we ever add analytics, we will say so here and ask you first.
3. Other companies
Cloudflare, which protects our service, may set its own small security files to tell people from bots. They are used only for security.
4. Your control
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser’s settings, and signing out removes the sign-in cookie. If you block all cookies, you will not be able to sign in.
